Last week I had the pleasure of running a leadership workshop for Improve Digital in Amsterdam. First up… What an incredible organisation to work for. The team are so much fun and they get to work in a beautiful office by the docs everyday (And an amazing free lunch).
Right back to the workshop… even though they are a creative team the results of the process was consistent with every other organisation. If you tell a group of people erectile dysfunction they are creative they will behave creatively. If you assign a leader to a group they will follow orders.
We ran the usual format I use by comparing jazz and classical leadership styles – shared leadership vs appointed. This is always fascinating to observe and this was no different.
