Complexity is at the heart of our global landscape. Traditional linear thinking and analytical skills only address so much of the problems.
We’ve been taught to unlearn our innate creativity and convergent skills. While theory can be learned passively, emotional intelligence and skills including adaptability and creativity can only be nurtured and explored through practice and experiential learning.
Our learning experiences incorporate both creative and analytical thinking. They motivate and engage participants to be at the centre of discovering their own insights. Self direction and coaching is at the heart of what we do. Learners experience competence in managing complexity and change in a positive, inspiring way.

The creative nature of our experiences drives participation and creates a common platform and narrative for everyone to discuss change in a positive way. It opens up authenticity of our behaviours, and helps participants explore and build self-awareness of authentic emotional intelligence and teamworking skills. Within the process, participants are provided a rich pool of insights to process and elicits a framework for them to transfer back to their workplace and life.
In the process, as participants are actively guided in team coaching scenarios to collaborate and ultimately produce a positive result, they experience shifted mindsets of what is possible in terms of approaching complex challenges, their relationship to creativity and innovation, and leadership. Risk taking is within the context of a safe, problem solving challenge rallied around the narrative of music.

Music is a powerful narrative for discussing key issues and change. It’s our collective language and provides a positive and powerful platform for collaborating in our most authentic form. It’s also a powerful metaphor for demonstrating true high performance teamwork and creative leadership. Stix applies the practices and successes of musicians to leadership and team development.
What we’ve found over the past ten years running our programmes is that we all have an inherent drive towards collaboration. What’s powerful about stix is that participants are able to actively demonstrate this themselves, making our sessions very transformational and engaging.
